As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic sweeping the Nation, the Government of Malaysia imposed a movement control order (MCO) beginning from 18 March 2020 which is still ongoing. As a result of the MCO, all premises of Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDNM) (except stamp duty counters at Branch Stamping Office and Hasil Care Line) nationwide will be closed until further notice while many parts of the Royal Malaysian Customs (Customs) will be operating on an online platform only. To accommodate the said closure, an extension of time has been granted by the tax authorities for the various submissions/payments by the taxpayers and other parties. Below is a brief guide to the new time frames for submissions and payments.

We may issue further updates as and when we receive them.
